The Arts Center of Moultrie presents "Connecting Threads," our 2024 quilt exhibition. The show will run from June 20 - July 31, 2024, with an opening reception on Thursday, June 20 at 5:30 pm. Quilters are encouraged to submit their works for show entry!

2024 Quilt Exhibition: Connecting Threads Deadline: May 24, 2024
The Arts Center of Moultrie presents "Connecting Threads," our 2024 quilt exhibition. The show will run from June 20 - July 31, 2024, with an opening reception on Thursday, June 20 at 5:30 pm. Quilters are encouraged to submit their works for show entry!
Entry Fee: $10 / entry
Delivery Dates: May 29-31, 2024 (during office hours)
Pick-Up Dates: August 1-2, 2024 (during office hours)
Quilt Rules:
- Must have a sewn sleeve the width of the quilt for hanging.
- Must be delivered in a pillowcase with your name on it.
- Must have a copy of the registration form attached to the back.
- Must have a label stitched to the back.
- Must NOT be commercially made.
- Handmade antique quilts are acceptable.
Categories:
- Bed Quilts - Must be 60" - 110" in width and 80"+ in length
- Large Wall Quilts - Must be 49" - 110" in width and 40"+ in length
- Small Quilts - Must be 12" - 48" in width and 18" in length
Cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 will be awarded at the closing pf the exhibit to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Viewer's Choice Awards. The Arts Center will carry insurance on the value of your quilt(s) during the exhibition period. Quilters may choose to place their work for sale, accounting for a 30% commission fee.
